מבוא:
איסוף מידע הוא השלב הראשוני בגיבוש עמדה שהיא למעשה הערכה על אדם אותו אנו רואים
בפעם הראשונה.איסוף מידע שלא כראוי עלול לגרור אחריו יצירת סטריאוטיפים.
אם נבין ונלמד כיצד ילדינו אוספים מידע על אחרים נוכל לנסות ולשנות גישה זו וכך נוכל למנוע
תפיסה סטריאוטיפית, לכן עבודה זו עוסקת באסטרטגיות בהן ילדים אוספים מידע על אחרים.

דוגמא הממחישה את הצורך בשינוי גישת הילדים באיסוף מידע על אחרים ניכרת בידיעה על בית
ספר בדרום הארץ בו התגלה כי ישנה אפליה ברורה כנגד הילדים האתיופים הלומדים בבית ספר זה.
תוך כדי ראיון עם שתי ילדות קטנות מבית הספר הן טענו שהן לא אוהבות את האתיופים בגלל צבע
עורם.
כמו כן, התגלה שהילדים האתיופים יוצאים להפסקות בשעות שונות משאר הילדים.
גילוי זה צריך לעורר את מערכת החינוך שכן יש לטפל בבעיה בדחיפות טרם תחריף לממדים חסרי
תקדים.

בראשית העבודה אציג את נושא איסוף המידע שכן זהו השלב ראשון של תהליך שסופו השפעה של
החברה על רכישה ושינוי של סטריאוטיפים.
בהמשך אציג תיאוריות פסיכולוגיות המדגישות את ההיבט הקוגניטיבי של ההתפתחות וביניהן
תיאוריית עיבוד המידע והתיאוריה של פיאז'ה.
לאחר סקירת התיאוריות אציג את המתרחש מבחינה קוגניטיבית בגיל הילדות ובגיל ההתבגרות.
בהמשך יוצג נושא סטריאוטיפים והטיות שכן זוהי התוצאה השלילית של איסוף מידע לא יעיל.
בסוף העבודה אתייחס לקשר שבין דרך איסוף מידע לבין גיל הילד, תוך ניסיון להציג דרכים לשינוי
תפיסה בדרך איסוף מידע על אחרים של הילדים בגילאים השונים.
