יחסי שחורים-לבנים בארה"ב

תקציר העבודה:

בעבודה זו אנסה לסקור את היחסים בין השחורים והלבנים בארה"ב ממס' נקודות מבט חברתיות והיסטוריות, תוך בחינת השאלה מנקודת מבט ספציפית, נישואים מעורבים.
בחרתי בנקודה זו משום שהיא משיקה לקו התפר שבין יחסי שחורים ולבנים בארה"ב ומדגישה רבות מהבעיות ביחסים אלה.
מרבית מדינות העולם המערביות אינן מורכבות מקבוצה אתנית אחת. ישנן מדינות אשר בהן ישנה קבוצה גדולה שלטת ולצידה קבוצות אתניות קטנות וישנן מדינות אשר מורכבות ממספר רב של קבוצות אתניות. תופעות מעין אלה נובעות ממספר גורמים : אפשר כי המדינה המערבית "מושכת" אליה מיעוטים מארצות זרות בשל צרכים כלכליים, כפי שהתרחש בגרמניה לאחר מלחמת העולם השניה, או בישראל כיום, (העובדים הזרים).
אפשר כי המדינה עצמה מורכבת ממספר מיעוטים אתניים, אשר הם אלה אשר היוו את הבסיס להתהוותה של המדינה, כפי שהתרחש בארצות הברית . ואפשר כי המיעוט קיים היה על שטח המדינה עוד לפני הקמתה של המדינה כפי שהתרחש במדינת ישראל ערב הקמת המדינה.
עבודה זו תעסוק ביחסים בין המיעוטים השונים בארצות הברית, או ביתר דיוק ביחסים שבין שחורים ללבנים בארצות הברית. בכדי להבין את המורכבת והדינמיות ביחסים אשר נוצרים בין מיעוטים שונים לבין הרוב, או בין מיעוטים שונים לבין עצמם, נבחן תחילה את המצב במדינת ישראל ביחסים שבין העדות השונות המרכיבות את הרוב היהודי.
